My wife and I just got back from a week-long boat trip in Croatia where we were celebrating a close friend’s 40th birthday. Sixteen women living on a 90-foot motor yacht with a 24-7 open bar was just as fabulous and hectic as it sounds. I left my liver in the bottom of a jug of lukewarm Croatian white wine.
My in-laws came from CA to look after our 15-month baby, Rozella (or Rozie, rhymes with posy). I was convinced I wouldn’t miss our little squish too much, given: Travel! Swims! Chats! Cocktails! I missed her so much. Like, an everyone-is-partying-on-the-top-deck-and-I’m-looking-through-every-picture-of-her amount: deeply uncool.
