This week’s story comes to us care of Canadian writer, Blair Mlotek. It made me nostalgic for a road trip to Montreal that my New York pals and I took about a decade ago. We spent the weekend eating poutine (my favorite!), drinking local beer, and butchering the French language. I was single at the time and one of our group pics ended up on the dating profile that caught my future wife’s eye. She thought my friends looked cool, and figured I might be, too. (She wasn’t wrong.)

A group of friends make up the cast of “On A Mission”, centered around two lifelong best buds. Josh Cooper, the literal boy next door, has always been there for Hunter. Fresh off a breakup, Hunter needs her best friend more than ever. But when Hunter shares that she’s on a mission to date again, happy-go-lucky Cooper isn’t as enthusiastic as she’d expect.
